Return and Withdrawal Policy

1. Right of Withdrawal (Article 102 of RDL 1/2007)

In accordance with Spanish and European legislation, the customer has the right to withdraw from the purchase contract without justification within 14 calendar days from the receipt of the product.

Conditions for exercising the right of withdrawal:

  • The product must be returned in perfect condition, unused, in its original packaging, and with all included accessories, manuals, or documentation.

  • The customer is responsible for direct costs associated with the return shipping, except in cases of errors attributable to Zaus (e.g., defective product or incorrect delivery).

  • The customer is liable for any decrease in the product’s value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics, or functionality (Article 108 of RDL 1/2007).

2. Procedure for Exercising the Right of Withdrawal

To exercise the right of withdrawal, the customer must:

  1. Notify their decision via email to comercial@zaus.es, providing the order number, product details, and optionally the reason for withdrawal.

  2. Complete the withdrawal form provided during the process, as required by Article 106 of RDL 1/2007.

  3. Send the product to the address designated by Zaus within 14 days of the withdrawal notification.

Once the product is received and its condition verified, the corresponding refund will be issued within a maximum of 14 calendar days. The refund will be processed via the original payment method, deducting any applicable shipping costs.

3. Exclusions from the Right of Withdrawal (Article 103 of RDL 1/2007)

The right of withdrawal is not applicable in the following cases:

  • Customized or made-to-order products: Includes furniture tailored to customer specifications, such as kitchen designs or furniture with specific finishes.

  • Assembled or installed products: Returns are not accepted if the customer has assembled or installed the item.

  • Hygienic items: If the packaging has been opened (e.g., mattresses or textiles).

4. Legal Warranty of Conformity (Article 120 of RDL 1/2007)

All products sold by Zaus are covered by a two-year warranty from the delivery date. This warranty covers manufacturing defects or non-conformities existing at the time of delivery.

Conditions for applying the warranty:

  • The customer must notify any defect within a reasonable time after detection (maximum of two months).

  • Zaus may choose to repair, replace, offer a price reduction, or refund the product depending on the defect's nature and the feasibility of each solution.

Exclusions from the warranty:

  • Damage resulting from misuse or incorrect installation.

  • Normal wear and tear or exposure to unsuitable environmental conditions.

5. Returns Due to Transportation Damage

The customer is responsible for inspecting the package upon delivery. If visible damage is observed, it must be noted on the carrier's delivery note and reported to Zaus within 24 hours of receipt.

6. Costs Associated with Returns

Unless the product is defective or an error in shipping occurred:

  • The customer will bear the direct costs of the return.

  • If the product is not in perfect condition (original packaging, no damage or signs of use), a proportional depreciation will apply to the refund.

7. Defective or Incorrect Products

If the customer receives a defective or incorrect product, they must notify Zaus within 48 hours of delivery, attaching photographs of the defect or error. Zaus will cover the costs of return shipping and the delivery of the correct or repaired product.

8. Conflict Resolution

In case of disputes, Zaus and the customer may refer to the dispute resolution system provided by the relevant Consumer Arbitration Board or the competent courts according to the customer’s residence.

9. Applicable Legislation

This policy is governed by Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007 and the European Regulation 2017/2394 on cooperation for consumer protection.
